What's polyaspartic poliurea?

Polyaspartic Polyurea is a third generation of polyurea material generated by the reactions of polyaspartic resin and isocyanate hardener. It has super-long pot life, high solids content, rapid curing and excellence, and applies to a variety of applications such as waterproofing, corrosion protection, flooring, glue.

What's the difference between polya and traditional polyu?

polyaspartic polyurea has a much longer pot life, lower VOC and better outdoors weather resistance, with high hardness and high flexibility.

Which substrates are suitable for polyaspartic polyurea?

It can be used at various substrates, such as concrete, metals, tiles, stone, and existing coatings, which need to be secured, dry and clean before construction.

What's the construction temperature for polyaspartic polyurea?

Recommendation 5-35°C Construction in range, 15-25°C For the preferred temperature. Temperature needs to be appropriately prolonged for curing and conservation.

How long does polyaspartic polyurea take to cure?

The touch-dry time varies from one product to another, typically 1-3 touch-dry, 24 to hard-dry.

Is UV-resistant? Do outdoor use change?

The aliphatic structure gives them excellent UV tolerance and yellow resistance and is suitable for long-term outdoor exposure.

How are corrosion protection and chemical resistance assessed for polyaspartic polyurea?

The coating is dense, adhesion strong and has good long-lasting protection against acid, alkalin, salt spray and various chemical media.

How are the products selected for procurement?

Is "polyurea" a common standard?

Not a uniform standard product classification. The market may use the term “polyurea” to refer to different resin ratios or formulation directions, and the product TDS should be requested prior to procurement and confirm resin, hardener, encapsulation, construction methods and applicable scenes.

Can transparent waterproof paints be used directly in all seeps?

Application cannot be judged solely by “transparent”. (b) The availability of transparent waterproofing coatings combined with substrate water-bearing rates, cracks and nodes treatment, design film thickness, conditions of exposure and accompanying prmer certification; We'll make a sample and then accept it as required by the project.

What difference does it make between epoxy?

epoxy usually has a good attachment and levelling power, but outdoors are dependent on specific systems for low-temperature rapid stabilization; The aliphatic polyaspartic polyurea is better suited for use as a tolerance, grinding and fast-opening tool. The actual project often uses a primer, medium-painted combination of polyaspartic polyurea, rather than simply replacing each other.

What's the difference between polyaspartic polyurea and polyurethane?

Both form high performance coatings. polyaspartic polyurea is usually more responsive, more robust and more patient and efficient; The performance of polyurethane is also wide-ranging. Specific product systems should be selected on the basis of base materials, open hours, flexibility, weather availability and cost.

Are you sure you don't get yellow?

Aliphatic polyaspartic polyurea offers UV resistance and color retention, but yellowing resistance still depends on the resin, hardener, pigments, additives, film thickness and exposure conditions. For outdoor projects, select a complete system with a stated weathering classification and supporting test evidence.

Is it single or double?

The project is often based on the use of polyaspartic polyurea as a double-assembly reaction material, which is constructed by a mixture of resin formations and isocyanate hardener in the prescribed proportion. There are also special packaging or modified products, which must be based on the product label, TDS and certification.

Does the ratio of A and B components all 1: 1?

Nope. Common products may use the weight ratio of 1: 1 or 2: 1, different resin, hardener and formulations that cannot be applied in the same ratio. The construction must be called a recombinant and strictly enforce the ratio given in the corresponding batch documents.

Why must it not be estimated by volume?

Groups A and B may vary in density, and the same size does not mean the same weight. Proportional deviations result in incomplete reactions, with viscosity, insufficient hardness, cracks or reduced durability, so that calibrated electronic scales should be used on site.

What's the correct mix?

The group A is to be mixed separately at a single low speed to evenly, and then added to the full group B at the required rate, at a low rate of approximately 2 to 3 minutes and scraping the barrel wall and bottom. When necessary, re-barreling to reduce partially unmixed materials.

Why can't we do this at high speed?

High-speed mixing can easily get into the air, causing the mixture to generate large amounts of microfoams, which, after curing, may result in needle holes, bubbles or surface defects. Low-speed mixers suitable for resin materials should be used, and the mix head should be maintained for ingestion.

How long after a mix?

Time available varies with product, material temperature, environmental humidity and single formulations. (a) The Junaimei general on-site system could be organized in the vicinity of 25℃ for approximately 40 minutes, subject to the corresponding product TDS and a small on-site test; High temperatures and large barrel mixes reduce the time significantly.

Can diluents continue to be used when the mix becomes dense?

No way. The presence of a visible denseness, radish, block or initial condensation indicates that the reaction has advanced and should cease immediately. Mobility may not be restored by adding water or by adding solvents at will, otherwise it can undermine rationing, entropy and membrane performance.
