What's polyaspartic poliurea?
Polyaspartic Polyurea is a third generation of polyurea material generated by the reactions of polyaspartic resin and isocyanate hardener. It has super-long pot life, high solids content, rapid curing and excellence, and applies to a variety of applications such as waterproofing, corrosion protection, flooring, glue.
What's the difference between polya and traditional polyu?
polyaspartic polyurea has a much longer pot life, lower VOC and better outdoors weather resistance, with high hardness and high flexibility.
Which substrates are suitable for polyaspartic polyurea?
It can be used at various substrates, such as concrete, metals, tiles, stone, and existing coatings, which need to be secured, dry and clean before construction.
What's the construction temperature for polyaspartic polyurea?
Recommendation 5-35°C Construction in range, 15-25°C For the preferred temperature. Temperature needs to be appropriately prolonged for curing and conservation.
How long does polyaspartic polyurea take to cure?
The touch-dry time varies from one product to another, typically 1-3 touch-dry, 24 to hard-dry.
Is UV-resistant? Do outdoor use change?
The aliphatic structure gives them excellent UV tolerance and yellow resistance and is suitable for long-term outdoor exposure.
How are corrosion protection and chemical resistance assessed for polyaspartic polyurea?
The coating is dense, adhesion strong and has good long-lasting protection against acid, alkalin, salt spray and various chemical media.
How are the products selected for procurement?

Is "polyurea" a common standard?
Not a uniform standard product classification. The market may use the term “polyurea” to refer to different resin ratios or formulation directions, and the product TDS should be requested prior to procurement and confirm resin, hardener, encapsulation, construction methods and applicable scenes.
Can transparent waterproof paints be used directly in all seeps?
Application cannot be judged solely by “transparent”. (b) The availability of transparent waterproofing coatings combined with substrate water-bearing rates, cracks and nodes treatment, design film thickness, conditions of exposure and accompanying prmer certification; We'll make a sample and then accept it as required by the project.
What difference does it make between epoxy?
epoxy usually has a good attachment and levelling power, but outdoors are dependent on specific systems for low-temperature rapid stabilization; The aliphatic polyaspartic polyurea is better suited for use as a tolerance, grinding and fast-opening tool. The actual project often uses a primer, medium-painted combination of polyaspartic polyurea, rather than simply replacing each other.
What's the difference between polyaspartic polyurea and polyurethane?
Both form high performance coatings. polyaspartic polyurea is usually more responsive, more robust and more patient and efficient; The performance of polyurethane is also wide-ranging. Specific product systems should be selected on the basis of base materials, open hours, flexibility, weather availability and cost.
Are you sure you don't get yellow?
Aliphatic polyaspartic polyurea offers UV resistance and color retention, but yellowing resistance still depends on the resin, hardener, pigments, additives, film thickness and exposure conditions. For outdoor projects, select a complete system with a stated weathering classification and supporting test evidence.
Is it single or double?
The project is often based on the use of polyaspartic polyurea as a double-assembly reaction material, which is constructed by a mixture of resin formations and isocyanate hardener in the prescribed proportion. There are also special packaging or modified products, which must be based on the product label, TDS and certification.
Does the ratio of A and B components all 1: 1?
Nope. Common products may use the weight ratio of 1: 1 or 2: 1, different resin, hardener and formulations that cannot be applied in the same ratio. The construction must be called a recombinant and strictly enforce the ratio given in the corresponding batch documents.
Why must it not be estimated by volume?
Groups A and B may vary in density, and the same size does not mean the same weight. Proportional deviations result in incomplete reactions, with viscosity, insufficient hardness, cracks or reduced durability, so that calibrated electronic scales should be used on site.
What's the correct mix?
The group A is to be mixed separately at a single low speed to evenly, and then added to the full group B at the required rate, at a low rate of approximately 2 to 3 minutes and scraping the barrel wall and bottom. When necessary, re-barreling to reduce partially unmixed materials.
Why can't we do this at high speed?
High-speed mixing can easily get into the air, causing the mixture to generate large amounts of microfoams, which, after curing, may result in needle holes, bubbles or surface defects. Low-speed mixers suitable for resin materials should be used, and the mix head should be maintained for ingestion.
How long after a mix?
Time available varies with product, material temperature, environmental humidity and single formulations. (a) The Junaimei general on-site system could be organized in the vicinity of 25℃ for approximately 40 minutes, subject to the corresponding product TDS and a small on-site test; High temperatures and large barrel mixes reduce the time significantly.
Can diluents continue to be used when the mix becomes dense?
No way. The presence of a visible denseness, radish, block or initial condensation indicates that the reaction has advanced and should cease immediately. Mobility may not be restored by adding water or by adding solvents at will, otherwise it can undermine rationing, entropy and membrane performance.
How much material should we have?
Follow a small number of times and with them. A single formulation should match the construction personnel, tool efficiency, temperature and serviceable time to ensure that the material can be distributed within the Pot life to avoid the acceleration of the accumulation of heat in the drums.
What standard does substrate have to meet before construction?
Substrate shall be solid, dry, clean, without light water, oil pollution, dust, sand rise and laxity. Concrete pallets, old coatings and contaminants should be polished, castrated, cleaned and vacuumed, and cracks and holes should be repaired early.
Can concrete be constructed directly with excessive water content?
Not recommended. Hydrology and tides may affect primer penetration, interface attachments and bubbles. Allowing water retention and testing methods to implement the product TDS; In the event of an underground return or water vapour pressure, water sources and tidal layers should be treated first.
Why is substrate above dew point?
When substrate approaches or lower than dew point, surfaces may form condensed water that is less visible to the naked eye, leading to constrictions, whiteness, bubbles or failure of attachment. Air temperature, humidity, substrate temperature and dew point differential should be continuously checked before construction and in the early stages of curing.
Can we build on old tiles, stone or old coatings?
It can be assessed, but it must first be confirmed that the grass roots are strong. Wax removal, oil removal, mechanized coagulation and small area adhesion testing and selection of a matching interface primer; The loose bricks, empty drums and old coatings with bad ads must be removed.
What about the metal base before construction?
The grease, rust, oxidation and old paint membrane should be removed, and the required cleaning and roughness should be achieved. Dust removal and construction of sub-paints after grinding or spraying to avoid reoxidation or tideing of metal surfaces.
Does it have to be painted?
Most concrete, metals and porous substrates require submersible paints to seal holes, enhance attachment and reduce bubble risk. Underground paint types, usages and repainting times should match the entire coating system and should not be used randomly across brands.
How long after the underpaint works?
Work should be carried out in the base paint in the prescribed state of curing and still within recoat window. Temperature and humidity change waiting times; More than the maximum repainting interval, the cleaning, grinding or use of the repainted processor is usually required for the implementation of TDS.
Can you paint, roll or scratch?
Most of the field-type products can be painted, rolled or scraped, and some are suitable for spraying. Tools, membrane thickness and construction speeds affect internationalization and appearance, and process selection should be based on material viscosity, pot life and target effects.
Do you want to paint it once or twice?
Construction should be based on the design film thickness and single-way thickness permitted by the product. Bleeding blindly may lead to heating, drifting, bubbles or rigidity; Multi-track construction must control inter-layer cleaning and recoat window.
How to control the actual thickness of the coating?
The material is accounted for in theoretical quantities and areas prior to construction, using membrane biopsy, which, after curing, allows for the detection of the thickness of the dry film as required by the project. Crude, porous substrate increases actual consumption and cannot be estimated solely in terms of the size of the packaging.
Why do the coats have bubbles?
Common causes include substrate wet or pore exhausting, mixing of convulsions, construction during solar warming, inadequate laminate closure, single-lane overheavy or solvent volatilisation. The location and timing of air bubbles should be determined before treatment for vapour, air or construction processes.
Why do coats have needle holes or constrictors?
The needle pore is associated with substrate exhaust, mixed bubbles and roller speed; Convulsions are often associated with oil pollution, silicon contamination, dust or surface tension anomalies. Defected areas should be thoroughly cleaned and polished prior to return to work and cannot be covered solely by surface cover.
Why does the coating sticky or long-term dry?
The common causes are mismatching, mixing and unevenness of materials, dampness of materials, low temperature, mixing of components or the use of materials that have exceeded pot life. Quoting records, batches, environments and mixing processes should be checked, and areas that are not fully sequestered usually need to be cleared and reworked.
Why would there be skinning, decorating, or a deficiency?
It is usually associated with insufficient substrate strength, dusty oil residue, excessive water content, mismatches of base paint, excess of recoat window or failure of old coatings. The restoration must address the solid interface and re-establish the supporting inter-layer structure.
Why is there a hanging, orange peel or roller on the surface?
Material viscosity, single-lane thickness, tool selection, construction temperature and operational speed all affect the appearance. The pacing and membrane thickness of the ingredients should be controlled, suitable roller or scraping tools should be used, and the receipt should be completed before the material becomes unmobility.
What about the yin, the root and the stitches?
It should first be repaired into a continuous smooth node, remove the loose and complete the primer. Weak positions such as cracks, tubing roots, water drops and construction stitches can be designed to increase the number of pelicans, polyesters or specialized enhancements.
Is construction possible in rain, wet or fog weather?
Open-air construction is not recommended in rain, snow, fog, exposed or wet conditions. Even if it does not rain directly, humidity and dew point affect surface state and curing processes; The temperature, humidity and dew point requirements of the product shall be met simultaneously.
What's the impact of cold construction?
Low temperatures usually lead to increased viscosity, slowing and longer curing and repainting times. Materials and substrates shall not be below the minimum temperature specified in the product and shall be subject to environmental stability for a specified period of time after construction.
What do you need to know about the construction at high temperatures?
High temperatures reduce the time of pot life and leaving and speed up the heating of barrels. The amount of single batches should be reduced to avoid material flashes, to organize personnel and tools in advance and to select low-temperature periods for construction.
How long after construction can people leave, bubble water or bear heavy load?
Touch-dry, walkable, lightweight, fully cured and long-term inundation are different stages. The timing depends on the product and the environment; Project delivery must be carried out in accordance with TDS and the maintenance requirements of the project, and cannot be fully cured by mere surface-free hand judgement.
Do you think you can soak long?
Some water protection systems can be used in long-term damp or immersed environments, provided that water resistance, hydrolysis and supporting requirements for specific products are identified. Water pressure, nodes, substrate stability and sanitary and environmental requirements are also taken into account in swimming pools, pools, underground structures, etc.
Is it acid, alkali and solvent resistance?
Resistance depends on the type of medium, concentration, temperature, mode of exposure and time. (a) “acid alkyl” cannot be used to summarize all the conditions; The chemical company project should provide a list of media and be selected based on immersion or spot testing data.
Is transparency direct to the outdoors?
It can be used for scenarios that require transparency, milling and durability, but transparency systems are easier to show substrate colour differentials, bubbles and pollution. Long-term outdoor use also requires recognition of the durability of UV, water accumulation, smoothing and bottom materials.
Can different brands or models mix?
Unverified mixing is not recommended. Different systems may not be compatible in terms of equivalents, solvents, assistors, reaction speeds and inter-layer attachments. When mixed, minor tests and adhesion validation should be confirmed and completed by technicians.
How do we save the remaining A and B?
Unmixed materials shall be sealed separately to avoid water vapour, impurities and cross-contaminated, and shall be stored in a cool, dry, ventilated temperature as specified in the label, far from the source of the fire and direct sunlight. The period of preservation after the opening is usually shorter than the unopened product.
How are construction tools cleaned and managed?
The drums, mixers, rollers and razors must be clean, dry, oil-free and old. (b) Tools for different components and models should be managed separately; cured materials are often difficult to clear and should be processed within the prescribed cleaning window.
What personal protection is required for construction?
Appropriate chemical protective gloves, goggles and work clothes should be worn and ventilated according to the product SDS. In case of insufficient spraying or ventilation, use of assessed respiratory protection to avoid skin, eye contact and inhalation of aerosols.
What about material entering the eyes or touching the skin?
First aid measures are implemented immediately in accordance with SDS. Eye contact should be continuously washed with water and promptly treated; Dermal contact should be removed from contaminated clothing and cleaned. Do not wash skin with unspecified solvents.
How is it judged that the product is still in the shelf life?
Check packing integrity, production batch, validity period and storage records. In the case of cortex, abnormal sedimentation, densification, layering and inability to recover or package damp, the use shall be discontinued and the manufacturer shall be contacted to confirm it, not by date alone.
