Features

  • Without additional layers of protection, suitable for ship decks, hulls, cabins, etc., corrosion protection scenarios, especially for equipment such as oceanic vessels, offshore ships, yachts and other long-term exposures to the marine environment and outdoors, and protection against suntan, ocean atmospheric erosion and long-term immersion of seawater
  • Elongation at break exceeds 200%, accommodating hull movement during sailing and minor wave-induced deformation while bridging fine cracks at welds, joints and surfaces. A dense three-dimensional network blocks seawater, oxygen and marine salts to prevent rust, corrosion and leakage, accommodating deformation in ship steel structures and hull shells.
  • Non-suture membrane, non-suture infestation, water pressure resistance to 0.6 MPa, exposure to static water pressure, wave shocks and external pressure during ship navigation, closed water testing 72 h zero leakage, effective containment of sea water, infiltration of marine pollutants into the hull, avoidance of hull damage, infiltration of sea water into cabins and safety of ship navigation
  • Solids content ≥95%, low VOC, non-sorture, non-toxic and non-hazardous gas releases during construction and use, directly for use in ships ' compartments, drinking water tanks, food storage compartments, etc., as well as in closed space suitable for ships and places with high environmental requirements such as drinking water, food, etc.

Selection guide

Marine corrosion protection requires distinguishing the service environments of decks, hulls and compartments. Compare seawater and salt-spray exposure, hull movement and surface wear rather than selecting solely on appearance or adhesion results from ordinary building coatings.

Formulation notes

Confirm marine atmospheric exposure and prolonged seawater immersion separately, including welds and joints in the system review. For special compartments or drinking-water or food-contact uses, verify the relevant test documents and project requirements rather than relying on general corrosion-resistance descriptions.
