Features

  • Quick fixation: approximately 5 minutes touch-dry, containing highly reactive second-stage meds. When used in conjunction with the HDI trimester, you can dry in room temperature for approximately 5 minutes
  • Its solid content is 97±2% , supports low volatile organic compounds (VOC) and near solvent-free coating systems. Meanwhile, its viscosity is in 25°C Down below is just 60 – 100 mPa·s , with good mobility, spray and balance
  • The coatings are well balanced between appearance, resilience and long-term protection.
  • Good system stability and broad formula flexibility are provided. It can be used in different coatings and elastic systems depending on the performance characteristics required
  • It can also be used as an R component in the SPUA spray polyurea elastic system, either as the main resin or as an amplifier. This gives technicians more flexibility on a single material.

Applications

Field of application: CORPORATION PROTECTION, FREE PIECE

Attention

Allow coatings formulated with this product to cure for one week before testing their properties.

Storage

This product is flammable and should be kept at low temperatures and stored at temperatures of ≤40℃, which require storage in a cool, dry and ventilated environment far from the source of fire. Storage period is one year

Key notes

Selection guide

C1220 combines fast reactivity with low viscosity for corrosion-protection and wind-turbine blade coating development where curing efficiency matters. Compare flow properties alongside the working time required by the application.

Formulation notes

The rapid touch-dry behavior described here refers to use with an HDI trimer, not a fixed curing time for every formulation. For a spray-polyurea R component, distinguish its role as the main resin or a chain extender and validate mixing and film formation accordingly.
