Specifications

Technical documents and conditions of use

See the technical documents below for specification sources and conditions. Verify the model and document version before application. Specification sources

Check values and conditions in the original model documents. Batch supply is governed by the certificate of analysis and the agreed specification.

Check performance and service-life statements against the applicable reports, specimen preparation, test standards and service conditions. Unverified service-life figures are not durability guarantees; site photos do not replace film-thickness measurements or project acceptance records.

Features

  • High solid and sticky, capable of producing low viscosity paints for high solid content (construction solids up to 100%)
  • The coatings have excellent abundance, leveling performance and glitter.
  • Painted membranes also have excellent properties such as weather resistance, low-temperature softness, water resistance, solvent resistance, salt-spray resistance, etc.
  • High hardness (accessible) 2H ); particularly resistant (depletion loss) ≤20mg ( 500r/ 750g ))
  • ABS, PC, PVC and other plastics and polymetals are excellent
  • This product has excellent solubility with most of the hydroxylene acrylic acid resin, CAB etc.
  • Resilient elastic material (extension 400%, tense stength 25MPa) that can be applied with the company 's elastic hardener reaction, and rigid coating (hard 2H) with the reaction of rigid hardener, HDI trimer (or diplex) etc.

Applications

Applications: corrosion protection, flooring and blade coatings

Attention

Allow coatings formulated with this product to cure for one week before testing their properties.

Storage

This product is flammable and should be kept at low temperatures and stored at temperatures of ≤40℃, which require storage in a cool, dry and ventilated environment far from the source of fire. Storage period is one year

Selection guide

C1520 is used in corrosion-protection, flooring and blade coatings. Compare film build, gloss, abrasion resistance and substrate adhesion. Some applications overlap with C1420, but their NH equivalent weights and solids contents must be distinguished using the respective data sheets.

Formulation notes

The C1520 documentation covers both elastic and rigid hardener systems. First define whether the target is an elastic material or a harder film. Validate adhesion separately on the intended ABS, PC, PVC or metal substrate.
